Advising

Rowan's Engineering program matches up students with ECE faculty members, who provide educational guidance and assist students with planning their class schedules, electives, and future career plans.

You can find out your advisor by checking your Banner Self Service, or simply stop by at Ms. Brewer's desk in Rowan Hall 212.

Special Registration Requests

If you are unable to register for a class you wish to enroll, please use the Registration Request Form at this link:http://tinyurl.com/ROWAN-ENG to request assistance. You may use this form, for example, to request special permission to register for a class that is full, or for a class for which you do not have the prerequisite, but you believe you have the necessary background to be successful. Make sure to provide reason and justification for your request in the 'ÄúAdditional Information'Äù box.

Petition for Exclusion of Grade

You may request to have your (poor) grade in MATH 01.140 Accelerated Calculus - I (ACC-I) excluded from being counted in your GPA if the following conditions are satisfied:

  1. You have successfully completed (passed) both MATH 01.130 Calculus I AND MATH 01.131 Calculus II.
  2. The most recent grades in both of these courses must be at least as high as the most recent grade in ACC-I.

The change is not automatic. You must petition for this request, and have your advisor agree. To do so, fill out, obtain the necessary signatures and submit the Petition for Exclusion of Grade form.
