Biography

Liz McKenna is an experienced communications, marketing , and outreach strategist with over a decade of leadership in New York City’s labor movement. She served as Communications Director for the New York City District Council of Carpenters, Executive Assistant to the President at District Council 9 (IUPAT), and Instructor with Local Union 8A-28A Sign and Display Division. Her roles have included communications management, media production, public relations, community partnerships, union membership education, and digital tool implementation to support organizing and member engagement.
