Welcome to the future of education! Integrating fully immersive virtual reality technology with Rowan created curriculum to enhance courses and student engagement. 

The free roam pod located at the South Jersey Technology Park, provides a preview of the future of Rowan!  Six visitors at a time can experience immersive virtual worlds through a combination of wireless headsets, hand and foot tracking, haptics, and other 4-D immersive techniques.

Shape the Future of VR at Rowan University

Experiences

Once we have the new Campbell Library location open in December, we will have dedicated tour blocks staffed by students. Until then, please e-mail dsltours@rowan.edu to discuss tour availability.

The Rowan Dreamscape Learn Pod at the South Jersey Technology park alternates between two experiences. Make sure to check the website for details about the current experience! Each experience lasts 30 minutes, which includes preparation and setup time.

  • Alien Zoo - An introductory 10 minute virtual experience where you are introduced to the VR Biology curriculum that will be available for students in Spring of 2025. Explore an Alien Zoo where you and several others meet the local floral and fauna! 
  • Magic Projector -  A exciting experience where up to 6 users travel back to the past to explore a temple for the lost pearl. An exhilarating adventure where you will need to work as a team and escape from traps to succeed.
