Graduate Programs
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rowan University offers three graduate programs to provide students with advanced knowledge and skills necessary for a professional career or an academic position. Rowan CEE offers a MS in Civil Engineering, a MS in Engineering Management, and a Ph.D. in Engineering with specialization in Civil Engineering. We ensure that graduate students master quantitative and interpretive skills in a specialized, chosen field for successful professional practice. The Ph.D. is conferred to outstanding students who can demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research and make substantial contributions to the advancement of their chosen field. Ph.D. students are required to make original contributions in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
M.S. in Civil Engineering
The Masters program accommodates both full & part time students. This results in a mix of students who have a combination of industry practice & research interests.
M.S. in Engineering Management
The science of Engineering Management bridges the gap between the technical world of engineering disciplines and the business world.
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering
The program prepares students to make original contributions to advance specialized areas of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Graduate Certificate Programs (COGS)
The CEE Dept. is preparing for new certificate programs (COGS) in four areas of specialization.
Dr. Mohammad Jalayer serves as the graduate program coordinator for CEE.
