Graduate Mission Statement
The mission of the mechanical engineering graduate program is to develop scholarly and professional leaders who contribute to knowledge through the development of original and multidisciplinary research, through the pursuit of solutions to important societal problems, and through assertive dissemination of new knowledge, all the while cultivating a passion for mentoring future mechanical engineers.
M.S. in ME Program
The Mechanical Engineering program permits students to deeply explore engineering design and analysis. The interdisciplinary nature of the program provides students with an opportunity to work on exciting research areas at the leading edge of technology.

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Program
The Ph.D. in ME Program at Rowan effectively prepares individuals to respond to the changing needs of engineers today. Students will complete higher level coursework in technical topics & will develop and demonstrate applied skills in research, teaching, & communication.

ADD (4+1) Program
The Accelerated BS/MS Dual Degree Program in ME permits students to complete the 120-credit BS-ME and the 30-credit MS-ME degree (Non-Thesis Option) programs in under five years.
