Biography:

Horst Trattnig is Managing Director and CTO at Vallen Systeme GmbH in Germany, has a Master in Embedded Electronic Engineering, is delegate of DIN (Germany) in “CEN TC138/WG7” & “ISO TC135/SC9”, member of Acoustic Emission Working Group (AEWG) United States and member of board at the European Working Group of Acoustic Emission (EWGAE).
 
He coordinates the design of Acoustic Emission Systems that are used in various industrial areas, like industrial process monitoring and the monitoring of traffic infrastructure like bridges, tunnels and buildings. Together with his team at Vallen Systeme he develops sensors, data acquisitions systems and software products for various stages of the solution implementation.
