About WaterPAL
WaterPAL is an accessible app that puts lessons at the fingertips of students and instructors. WaterPAL also includes a set of gamified lab experiences that allow students to do and complete educational labs on their handheld devices while having fun doing so. Compared to a traditional lab experience, students need no specialized equipment or facilities, while the educational content remains the same as an in-person lab.
WaterPal allows students to easily access interactive labs, lessons, study materials, and more! With the built-in virtual lab experiments, students can select a virtual avatar and explore several labs relevant to water treatment. These virtual labs are faster and much more accessible than traditional lab experiments, requiring only a mobile phone to complete, while still giving students access to the same lessons that they'd learn in a traditional lab.
WaterPal is meant for students to allow them to do interactive labs on their IOS or Android device. This allows students to have another option to do labs relevant to their class work and gain the same experience. For some labs which require a set time, this could be completed much faster with the data being simulated and given for the students. This would allow students to see the full effect of the lab and potentially learn faster.

The Gas Transfer Lab is basically a normal gas transfer lab that is done on the app. Everything needed is given in this lab. There are directions on how to do the lab, tools that are given within the lab, and data and values given with the lab. With this, the student learns and can come up with a good conclusion and results with the lab.
Jar Test
The Jar Test Lab is a lab which is an attempt to get the best clarity possible. It allows students to add dirt or FeCl3 to a jar. Once the student gets a reasonable amount of clarity, they will be given their results and data. Students will also be able to redo the lab as many times to see different results for different amounts of FeCl3 added.
