Current Rowan students, please see requirements below::

• Minimum GPA for consideration (in required and cumulative coursework):
  • 3.0 for BME, CHE, CEE, ECE, E-SHP
  • 3.2 for ME
• Minimum GPA (in required and cumulative coursework) for automatic acceptance:
  • 3.3 for CEE, ChE, ECE, E-SHP
  • 3.5 for BME, ME

Applicants who do not meet automatic admission criteria will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

• In-progress courses must be completed prior to a decision.
• Decisions will be made after final semester grades are posted.

Courses requirements are applicable to all engineering majors, with some exceptions. See major-dependent requirements as indicated in parenthesis below.

• Composition I
• Calculus I and II*
• Introductory Mechanics – lecture and lab (PHYS 00220/PHYS L0220)
• Intro Electricity & Magnetism (ChE and ECE)
• Chemistry I* (not required by ECE)
• Chemistry II (BME and ChE)
• Computer Science & Programming (ECE)
• Intro Programming/Prob Solving (BME and CEE) 

*These courses have placement-testing requirements. Please work with your academic advisor for placement testing information.

Applications are open each semester as follows (applications will not be accepted outside of these dates):

• For Fall admission, applications accepted between February 1 - May 1
• For Spring admission, applications accepted between October 1 - December 1
