3D Printing Club

The mission of the 3D Printing Club is to give all students, regardless of major or skill level, the opportunity to learn about 3D printing and participate in 3D printing-related activities. Through participation in this club, students can learn skills that will be beneficial for the rest of their academic and professional careers.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the professional society for the field of aerospace engineering. Rowan AIAA is both a professional and project-based society designed to help you prepare yourself for a future in the aerospace industry. If you dream of working for companies like NASA, Boeing, or Lockheed Martin, come check us out! Between the International Rocket Engineering Competition, Design/Build/Fly, the Rowan PR Blimp, and many other projects, we'll help you find a place on one of our teams and give you your first aerospace experience here at Rowan.

AIChE Student Chapter of Chemical Engineers

AIChE provides an opportunity for chemical engineers, both undergraduate and graduates, to learn more about prospective workplaces, get chemical engineering related information, and have a good time! Monthly meetings take place, as well as periodic trips to local businesses. Speakers also present talks on their area of expertise.

ASCE Student Chapter of Civil Engineers

ASME Student Chapter of Mechanical Engineers

ASME is a worldwide engineering society focused on technical, educational, and research issues. It conducts one of the world's largest technical publishing operations, holds some 30 technical conferences and 200 professional development courses each year, and sets many industrial and manufacturing standards.

EWB Engineers Without Borders

Engineers Without Borders partners with developing communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally, equitable, and economically sustainable engineering projects, while developing internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.

IEEE (Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers)

The IEEE student chapter at Rowan University was established in 1996, and is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology.

New Jersey Water Environment Association

Welcome to Rowan University's Student Chapter of the New Jersey Water Environment Association. The purpose of this chapter is (1) to promote student interest in the environment, (2) to promote interest in the fields of water and wastewater treatment and global pollution mitigation and (3) to provide an avenue for the exchange of information and ideas between students and members of both the Member Association serving their geographical area, i.e. New Jersey Water Environment Association and the Water Environment Federation.


SAE Society of Automotive Engineers 

The primary focus of the Rowan University Chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is to facilitate the funding, training, fabrication, and racing of the Rowan Motorsports collegiate design series teams that represent our school at international events. Underclassmen are mentored and trained to not only continue the legacy of accomplishments acquired since 2003 but give them engineering experience that is rivaled by few other collegiate projects.

SAME Society of American Military Engineers

The mission of the Rowan Society of American Military Engineers Student Chapter is to reflect the goals and values of the SAME National Organization. These include involvement of interdisciplinary projects, service events to support our veterans and K-12 outreach, and the mentorship of developing engineering students through speakers and tours. Our chapter also emphasizes having fun in order to develop a family bond among our members. Founded Fall 2014.

SHPE Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers

SHPE is a national organization which focuses on boosting Hispanic representation in the STEM fields. The primary purpose of this chapter is to increase the number of Hispanic engineering students at Rowan as well as increase the number of Hispanic and minority students in the fields of engineering, science, and other professional areas that lack these ethnic groups.


SWE Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a non-profit service organization aimed at informing the community of the qualifications and achievements of women engineers. Its mission is to stimulate women to achieve their full potential in their careers as engineers and as leaders, to expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and to demonstrate the value of diversity. We have professional development, outreach and social events all throughout the semester that can be enjoyed by both men and women!

TBP Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society

Tau Beta Pi is the only engineering honor society representing the entire engineering profession. It is the nation's second-oldest honor society, founded at Lehigh University in 1885 to recognize students of distinguished scholarship and exemplary character. The Tau Beta Pi chapter was officially established at Rowan University on January 28, 2006.

Women in Engineering (WIE)

The purpose of IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is to promote the academic development of its members through hands-on engineering programs and to contribute to the development of women in engineering at Rowan University through its technical activities.  Rowan WIE holds many workshops throughout the year, along with fun events and outreach programs!
