B.S., Chemical Engineering, University of Washington

Kaitlyn, born and raised in Seattle, Washington, received their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2024 before moving to Lexington, Kentucky and the University of Kentucky to pursue a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering under Dr. Sarah Wilson, with a focus on engineering education. When Dr. Wilson was offered a position at Rowan University, Kaitlyn moved with their lab, continuing to pursue their education here, with a focus on recognizing barriers to success in college level engineering and normalizing mental health discussions through alternative communication methods. In their off-time, they enjoy doing art, making video games, baking, and playing with their two cats, Oscar and Frida.
