Current High School students are invited to join the Rowan RISE Summer Camp for an unforgettable three-day, non-residential workshop experience that features laboratory clinics, hands-on engineering projects, College tours and mentoring by Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering professors and students.

- Explore exciting engineering disciplines: Get your hands dirty with workshops on polymers, arduinos, concrete, bottle rockets, and 3D printing.
- Delve into laboratory clinics: Gain practical experience with technology and test your design ideas.

Current High School students (9th - 12th grades) during the 2024-2025 school year
Participation is open to all individuals regardless of any characteristic protected by law, including but not limited to, race, color, national origin, sex/gender, age, and/or disability.

Program Description
Rowan's Introduction for Students to Engineering (RISE) is a three-day, non-residential workshop experience that features laboratory clinics, exciting engineering activities, campus & industry tours, and mentoring by Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering professors and students. Students from high schools throughout the region may work on tentative projects involving polymers, arduinos, concrete, bottle rockets or 3D printing during the hands-on engineering RISE workshop.

What is the difference between AWE, BEST, and RISE?
RISE is for current High Schoolers, 9th through 12th graders.
AWE and BEST are workshops for middle school students, 6th through 8th grades in the current school year
Are the programs residential camps?
No.
Our summer programs are non-residential camps held in the mornings..

We strategically switch between Rowan Hall and Engineering Hall to give students access to the full spectrum of facilities and learning environments at the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering.
When do applications open and close?

Camp Details: Detailed camp information will be provided via email approximately two weeks before the camp start date.

We carefully calculate tuition based on materials and resources needed to ensure an enriching experience at a reasonable cost for every student.
Refund Policy:
Full refund until June 30, 2025 and then $100 processing fee.
