As Summer 2023 approaches, updated COVID-19 policies will be more clear, listing any requirements needed. 2022 University COVID-19 policy required all RISE participants to attest to having received a COVID-19 vaccine, a negative test, or a religious or medical exemption. An attestation form similar to this may be required to attend camps in 2023, but concrete details will be available closer to camp dates.

The RISE program will be in-person for 2023. Rowan's Introduction for Students to Engineering (RISE) is a four-day, non-residential workshop experience that features laboratory clinics, exciting engineering activities, and mentoring by Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering professors and students. Students from high schools throughout the region may work on projects such as polymers, arduinos, concrete canoes, bottle rockets or 3D printing during the hands-on engineering RISE workshop as well as tour the CREATEs and AMMI labs at the South Jersey Tech Park.
