Research Expertise:
Dr. Trias has expertise in bridge structural evaluation through the application of non-destructive and remote sensors.

Dr. Trias’ research focuses on the structural evaluation and condition assessment of bridges through the processing and analysis of point cloud data collected on operating bridges. Her research also seeks to improve methods that can accelerated the data required to perform bridge load rating and long-term performance analysis. Dr. Trias is currently working on evaluating the impact of implementing LiDAR data collection of bridges as a screening tool that can facilitate asset management.
