Dan Drutz spent four years in the Dean’s Office of the College of Science & Mathematics/School of Health Professions at Rowan University before joining the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. While is CSM/SHP, Drutz did two redesigns of the College’s website, enhanced its Social Media presence, and was the coordinator of the College commencement ceremonies that saw of 1,000 students cross the stage each year. Before moving to the academic side of campus, Drutz spent 16 years in Athletic Communications, including three at Rowan.

Prior to arriving at Rowan, he spent seven years as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics from Communications at Saint Peter’s University where is oversaw the communications efforts for 18 NCAA Division I programs. While at Saint Peter’s, Drutz had stories about the teams published in the New York Times, the LA Times, Sports Illustrated, ESPN the Magazine and every other daily newspaper in New York City. His teams also featured on ESPN, Fox Sports, and NBC Sports. Drutz was also the recipient of the Rising Star Award from the College Sports Information Directors of America, given to a professional in his first 10 years in the business.
