Research Expertise:
Operation and control of power and energy systems; Modeling and optimization of large-scale power systems with a high penetration of distributed renewable energy resources; Flexible demand-side assets; Electric vehicles; Microgrids

I am continuously exploring new ideas and tools for ensuring the sustainable and secure electric energy supply at minimum cost. My team has been working and will continue work on three main areas of research: (i) simulation, modeling, and optimization of practical-scale power systems; (ii) exploration of demand response capabilities of heterogeneous energy consumers, such as data centers, electric vehicles, and smart buildings; and (iii) design, operation, and control of microgrid.
