Research Expertise:
Process Systems Engineering

My research focuses on leveraging Process Systems Engineering (PSE) principles in the areas of environmental sustainability and healthcare. Research methods include mathematical modeling, simulation, programming, data analytics, optimization, control, uncertainty analysis and stochastic processes. Some of my current research projects include (i) Design of wastewater treatment networks (ii) Solvent recovery and reuse for sustainable industrial practices (USEPA sponsored), (iii) Optimization of pipeline flushing operations in lubricants blending facility (ExxonMobil sponsored) and (iv) Healthcare applications like cancer diagnostics and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) management.
