Research Expertise: Virtual Reality, Image Processing, Artificial Neural Networks

Research Narrative: Dr. Mandayam’s research expertise is in the area of imaging, image processing, multi-sensor data fusion, advanced visualization and virtual reality. He directs research in the Virtual Reality Center in the South Jersey Tech Park and Joint Health Sciences Center, which supports research projects sponsored by the US Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, NASA, US Navy, US Economic Development Administration, US Department of Energy,  American Cancer Society, ExxonMobil, Elekta AB, etc.
