Dr. Chen's lab is presently dedicated to advancing research in the following areas: 1) Pioneering innovative biomaterials and biodevices for vascular tissue engineering. 2) Designing biomimetic scaffolds tailored for repairing defects in cartilage, bone, and osteochondral tissues. 3) Exploring the development of 3D-printable ECM/bio-ionic liquid functionalized hydrogels towards smart tissue regeneration.
