Dr. Peter Galie Appointed Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Galie has been appointed Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies in the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. Since joining Rowan in 2015, Dr. Galie has distinguished himself as a leader in biomedical engineering research, securing over $3.25 million in external funding, earning recognition from the American Heart Association and the National Science Foundation. His work has been featured in high impact journals, including the cover page of Science in 2019. He also co-founded CONDUCTink, a Rowan-based startup commercializing innovative biomaterials for drug discovery and therapeutic delivery. In his new role, Dr. Galie will guide the College’s research effort by building interdisciplinary collaborations across the college and identifying new strategies for faculty to obtain funding for their work. He is also working to create a support structure for our growing graduate programs and expanding opportunities for our students.
