Jamael, originally from Nigeria, got his B.Sc and an M.Sc before moving to the US for graduate studies. Jamael is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Experiential Engineering Education under the guidance of Dr. Jamison. For his Ph.D., he is interested in engineering students' experience with co-curricular services, and how AI can help remove barriers to access. Beyond research, Jamael likes spending time with friends, singing, and playing the piano.
