Michael is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Engineering within the ExEEd Department.  He currently serves as the Chief Engineer for the Delaware River Port Authority and an Adjunct Professor in Civil Engineering and Construction Management at Rowan.  He was named a KEEN Engineering Unleashed Fellow in 2023. 
He has undergraduate degrees in Civil Engineering (Rutgers) and Surveying Engineering Technology (NJIT).  He also holds an MBA (Lehigh).
Michael’s research focuses on understanding Civil Engineering employers’ expectations of new graduates and identifying potential gaps in preparedness as graduates enter the workforce.  He is passionate about preparing the next generation of engineers to lead our profession to maintain, improve, and upgrade the nation's infrastructure.
