DO/Ph.D. Program

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine/Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (DO/Ph.D.)

This Physician Engineer degree gives highly qualified applicants the opportunity to gain Biomedical Engineering research experience in while pursuing a DO degree at The Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. Graduates of this combined degree program will become physician engineers with the unique skill set to practice medicine and contribute to the study of innovative biomedical engineering treatments and clinical research. Two tracks offer students flexibility in how they integrate their DO and Ph.D. training.

Track 1:            Years 1-2 Medical School
                        Years 3-5 Ph.D. Coursework & Research
                        Years 6-7 Medical School
