2024 BioEngineering And Me Summer Program
The 2024 BEAM (BioEngineering And Me) Summer Program is a fun, educational, and FREE virtual program for high school students who are interested in or want to learn more about biology and engineering. This two-week program features presentations, workshops, and Q&A panels from professors and students in Rowan University's Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department. Participants will learn about current research areas and fields of study within Rowan BME through interactive presentations, virtual lab demos, and small group activities.
The 2024 BEAM Summer Program starts on Monday July 29 and ends on Friday August 9 (M-F, 9am-12pm EST time) and to participate, all you need is internet access. This program is free of charge, and applicants that demonstrate a strong interest and are available for the entire duration of the program will be selected for participation. Participants will put their newly learned knowledge to the test by playing Kahoot! games with chances to win BEAM t-shirts and hats!
Registration is now open (see Google Form Sign-Up below), and we are accepting applicants on a rolling basis. The application link is below.
