Doctor of Medicine/Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (MD/Ph.D.)

This Physician Engineer degree gives highly qualified applicants the opportunity to gain Biomedical Engineering research experience while pursuing an MD degree at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Graduates of this combined degree program will become physician engineers with the unique skill set to practice medicine and contribute to the study of innovative biomedical engineering treatments and clinical research. Two tracks offer students flexibility in how they integrate their MD and Ph.D. training.

Track 1:            Years 1-2 Medical School
