Dr. Galie Awarded American Heart Association Young Investigator Grant

2/10/17 - Dr. Peter Galie, an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering, was recently awarded a $216,000 research grant from the American Heart Association for work “establishing a mechanistic link between cerebral blood flow and the blood-brain barrier.” Dr. Galie has also recently published groundbreaking work in the top peer-reviewed journal, Biomaterials, on this subject.
