6/1/20 - Congratulations to Dr. Trang Vu, a recent Rowan BME PhD graduate, on receiving a prestigious NIH three-year iCURE Postdoctoral Fellowship funded by the National Cancer Institute (Bethesda, MD). At the NCI, Trang will be co-mentored by Dr. Peng Jiang (Cancer and Data Science Laboratory) and Dr. Kenneth Aldape (Laboratory of Pathology), to employ spatial-genomic and in-situ sequencing on brain cancers. These technologies enable the identification of the spatial origin of cells and constructing 3-D genome structure of a tissue. This project aims to visualize changes in genomic architecture of the brain during disease’s onset and progression.
