Advisory Board
The Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering maintains strong linkages with industry and government agencies throughout the greater New Jersey region. These important connections help to fund Engineering Clinic projects, and provide internships in regional industry. The Department of Mechanical Engineering receives support from an External Advisory Board (EAB) composed of a cross-section of key stakeholders. The essential function of the Mechanical Engineering EAB is to advise the department regarding its academic programs and bring employer perspectives to better prepare our graduates for their careers. The EAB supports the furthering of the Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology mission through external evaluation and assessment of the two programs. This important perspective helps us understand the relevancy of what we are doing through the eyes of practitioners and organizations who employ our students and helps the program continuously improve. The Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board has six to eight members who serve for a three-year term. The Engineering Advisory Board meets annually on campus to receive an update about the department, meet with students, faculty, and Dean/Associate Dean, and provide feedback. The names and brief bio of current Engineering Advisory Board members can be found on the department's webpage.
