BS/MS Combined Advanced Degree Program (CADP)
BS/MS Combined Advanced Degree Program (CADP)
Accelerate your career with our dual BS/MS Combined Advanced Degree Program (CADP)
The BS/MS Combined Advanced Degree Program offers students in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department an unparalleled opportunity to fast-track their careers. With just one additional year of coursework, students can earn a master’s degree in civil engineering in addition to their BS degree, setting themselves apart in a competitive job market.
Through our accelerated program, students take 6 credits of graduate level courses in their final year of undergraduate studies. The remaining 24 credits of coursework can be taken as 6 credits in the summer and 9 credits in each of the fall and spring semesters, or as 12 credits each in the fall and spring semesters, allowing for an internship during the summer before the final year of studies. Students benefit from reduced tuition costs, because the first 6 credits (if their course schedule has room) are covered by the full-time undergraduate tuition. By participating in this program, students gain advanced technical knowledge and develop a comprehensive understanding of CEE principles and practices, giving them a significant edge in their future careers.
