CEE Electives

CEE Electives

CEE Electives

The CEE department offers courses in five major areas: Structural, Environmental, Geotechnical, Transportation, and Water Resources Engineering.

Students must take four CEE electives (usually during their final year). Three of these electives must be distributed as one course each taken from 3 of these 4  banks (environmental, geotechnical, transportation, water resources). The final CEE elective course can be taken from any of the banks. The civil engineering elective banks are listed below.

The following two CEE courses may NOT be taken as CEE electives: Sustainable Buildings (CEE 08.437) and Sustainable Technologies for the Built Environment (08.436).
