What is the first field of engineering that comes to your mind when you think of future, emerging, new technologies? If you guessed “Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE),” you guessed it right! ECE has always been at the forefront of technology, it is *the* discipline that defines and creates future technologies (and the discipline whose graduates are paid the highest!). Yet, ECE is such a vast discipline, most high school students do not know what exactly electrical and computer engineers do.

Here is your opportunity to find out! If you are a current high school student and interested in a career in science and technology, we invite you to come and join us to EXCEL: Explore Xciting Careers in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This unforgettable three-day, non-residential summer workshop experience will include laboratory clinics, hands-on engineering projects, tours and mentoring by the faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

In ECE, future is what we do. Join us and learn how!

Here's what awaits you:

  • Explore exciting topics in ECE: Get your hands dirty with workshops on circuits, electronics, robotics, machine learning, sound engineering, power systems, communications, game design, and more
  • Delve into laboratory clinics: Gain practical experience with technology and test your design ideas.
  • Learn from the best: Receive expert guidance and mentorship from professors of Rowan's renowned ECE program.
  • Connect with like-minded peers: Forge lasting friendships with other aspiring engineers from across the region.
